ANXIETY + STRESS
If you have a worry or fear that does not go away and seems to get worse over time, you may be experiencing an anxiety-related disorder. If you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety such as excessive worry, fear, stress, obsessive/ intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors, I am able to help. Types of Anxiety Disorders I commonly work with include: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Selective Mutism, Trichotillomania, Adjustment Disorder, Specific Phobia, Acute Stress Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive-Disorder. Whether you have been given a formal diagnosis or not, I will help you develop strategies and coping skills to address your specific needs.
BODY IMAGE +
Body Image is your perception of your physical self and the thoughts and feelings that result from that perception. Individuals who experience a poor body image have a greater likelihood of developing disordered eating patterns and are more likely to suffer from feelings of depression, isolation, low self-esteem, and obsessions with dieting and weight loss. I am dedicated to helping you reconnect with your innate body wisdom so you can have a more balanced, cheerful, and loving relationship with yourself. I fully believe that you have the power to change the way you feel, think, and view your body, which will subsequently improve your overall self-esteem, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
+ EATING DISORDERS
Disordered Eating refers to a wide range of unhealthy eating behaviors. Disordered Eating and Dieting are the most common indicators of developing an Eating disorder. Eating Disorders are psychological illnesses with physical consequences that are caused by a combination of influences. Types of Eating Disorders Include: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder & Otherwise specified feeding or Eating Disorder. Recovery from Disordered Eating, Dieting, and Eating Disorder’s is real and 100% possible. I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you in your path towards recovery.
Life transitions can be positive or negative, planned or unexpected. Regardless of which, transitions cause you to leave behind what is comfortable and familiar, and force you to adjust to new ways of living. Life transitions I commonly work with include: children of divorce, changing schools, getting married, moving, and more. I would love to provide a safe space for you to process your life transition, and help you develop positive coping skills so you are able to a have a smoother and more optimistic move into your new phase of life.
